Daryl began dancing in year 2004, as a freshman in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Since 2008, Daryl has actively represented Singapore in the Latin Grade A (5 Dance) category at various regional DanceSport Championships such as the 2008 Shanghai Open Championships as well as competitions held in Malaysia and Taiwan. In 2009, he was also earmarked for the Sport Excellence (SPEX) Carding System by the Singapore Sports Council which recognizes athletes for excellence in their given sport. Daryl continues to actively compete in Regional and International DanceSport Events.
Daryl is currently teaching in the The DanceSport Academy as a resident instructor since 2009. He firmly believes in helping new dancers find the confidence to tackle more challenging and exciting dances.
Daryl has also taught at various schools, institutions and corporate functions.
Fion started dancing in year 2010 in Singapore Polytechnic. She has represented her school in various DanceSport Championships from Category I to Category IV and achieved many medals. She has since started to assist and teach in various projects such as Ngee Ann Polytechnic Sports and Wellness classes, Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School (Primary) and also in The DanceSport Academy itself.
Fion is also a certified Zumba Instructor and has been teaching Zumba since 2012. Since then, she has conducted classes for people of different age groups, using Zumba as a platform for a healthier lifestyle. By bringing fitness and dance together, she hopes to introduce both to more people.
Fion has also taught at various schools, institutions and corporate functions.
Zuri is certified as a Group Aerobics Instructor by the Western Australian Sports Organization and has been teaching aerobics for more than 20 years. She completed her FISAF Group Exercise Instructor Course in August 2010.
With her passion in the fitness field, Zuri is also a certified Zumba Fitness, Zumba Toning as well as Zumba Gold Instructor and has been attending the on-going Zumba International Network workshops(aka ZIN) since May 2010.
